Eric Pender is a search engine optimization and Internet marketing professional based in Chicago, Illinois.  Eric is currently an SEO manager for SMG Search, a division of Starcom MediaVest Group, where he manages SEO efforts for clients such as GMC, Buick, Saturn, Pontiac and others.  Eric also manages Spartan-Football.com, a website dedicated to Michigan State University football.

Before SMG Search, Eric Pender worked for Rise Interactive. While at Rise, Eric worked with clients such as Armani Exchange, Feldco, Calendars.com, Rogaine and others on Internet marketing projects including search engine optimization, paid search management, online reputation management and web site development.

Eric Pender is originally from Michigan.  He earned a master’s degree in public relations and advertising at DePaul University, and a bachelor’s in English from Michigan State University.
